5 Journal Prompts to Improve Your Mental Health

Journaling is an excellent way of getting to know yourself better while improving your overall mental health. Start with just one of these journal prompts below to find deeper insights about yourself.

1. If you had no fear, what would you do differently in your life?

2. Which emotion have you felt most strongly today and what provoked it? Do you wish to release this energy, or cultivate more of it?

3. Which coping mechanisms do you use when you are stressed or anxious? Do you think they are helpful or harmful, and why do you continue using them?

4. Think of a self-care ritual, activity, or practice that helps you recharge and nurture your mind, body, and soul. Do you include this activity in your daily, weekly, or monthly routines? Why or why not?

5. Write a love letter to yourself, as you are right now. Choose words that you really want and need to hear to lift your spirit and boost your confidence.

... I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master-Teacher. I graduated from Salter School of Massage Therapy in 2017.

In 2020, I started my Reiki training acheived the honor of became a Reiki Master-Teacher in 2021.

I also hold certifications as a Meditation Teacher, and as an Animal Reiki Practioner.

I am currently enrolled in my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, and I cannot wait to add yoga to my practice!
